Rhodium catalysts are precious metal catalysts with rhodium as their primary active component. They exhibit outstanding performance in reactions such as hydrogenation, oxidation, hydroformylation, and carbonylation. These catalysts effectively suppress side reactions of reactants during the reaction process, thereby enhancing overall reaction efficiency. Additionally, rhodium catalysts are utilized in oxidation processes, such as converting methanol to formic acid and ethanol to acetic acid. They are also capable of catalyzing hydrolysis reactions, including the hydrolysis of ethanol to produce acetaldehyde.
