Rhodium catalyst is a valuable metal catalyst with rhodium as its primary active component. It exhibits outstanding performance in hydrogenation, oxidation, hydroformylation, and carbonylation reactions. This catalyst effectively suppresses side reactions of the reactants, thereby enhancing the overall reaction efficiency. Additionally, rhodium catalysts are utilized in oxidation reactions, such as converting methanol to formic acid and ethanol to acetic acid. They are also employed in hydrolysis reactions, such as the conversion of ethanol to acetaldehyde.
